The author tells us simple rules for Bible reading:
1. Read God's word with great reverence
2. Read with careful attention
3. Read with the expectation of the guidance of God's Spirit
4. Read with the firm purpose of keeping the Word day and night in your heart and in your life
Though the rules seem as a matter of course, i don't reach them thoroughly most of the time. Usually, i am not very careful and i don't read it with great reverence. Sometimes when i am very busy, i read it as a routine without the guidance of God's spirit. I also forget to keep the word day and night when i am busy, too. These four rules are good reminders for me. I'll remind myself every day to keep my heart vigilant. If I can reach the rules thoroughly, I think I can grow up sooner than ever before. I hope I can grow soon, so I will try my best to commune with God thirstly and read His word carefully.
